We were surprised by the language barrier. I wouldn't say we "didn't like" it, but it did make it challenging to ask about some food allergies my husband has. Also, we were constantly bombarded with people who were trying sell us excursions. Around the pool, walking to our room, on the beach, in the ocean, headed to breakfast.

Truly it was constant. That was a bummer. We felt like there wasn't a "safe place" to get away from it. They had different levels and we had the basic package so we weren't sure where we were allowed to eat, what bars were off limits, if we could go in certain areas, but maybe that was because of the language barrier.

So lush and green and sprawling! I've been to all inclusives before and they usually feel like you're just staying in a hotel that happens to have restaurants, but this was truly incredible.

We couldn't get over how beautiful it was. No high rise buildings, just smaller two story buildings with 20ish rooms across the grounds. Oh and the pool, wow. The only things I would say are that the room facilities are starting to show some wear and tear and the cleaning could be more thorough.

Staff at the restaurants are sometimes very slow and not too responsive. It's a beautiful property. Bed is uncomfortable. Television had to be worked on. Plumbing issues. Toilet to close to the wall. More suited to Spanish speak guests. Javier our Butler was great. The rooms are dated and there might be issues like in our case with the draining of the water in the sink and shower. You have everything you need - food, drinks, pools, beach access.

We stayed just one night and they did everything for us to get the maximum for our stay - they provided us with an extra hour before checkout and offered courtesy room to wash after checkout. Also, although there weren't seats available in the a la carte restaurants, they offered an alternative in a restaurant in which normally you have to pay, but for us was free. The bed was really comfortable! The bedroom was always clean. The pool was clean and nice. Rooms could be cleaned better and noticed some towels were stained.

Staff is supper nice though:. I liked that it was quiet and the service was good. I think the butler could provide reminders of the things to do in a daily basis so that guests don't miss anything. It is definitely a great hotel and they spoil you at the rooms making you feel special. Would be great if there were more activities on the resort. It rained for 2 days which made it difficult to enjoy. Most of the activities are water base pool or beach therefore you may miss out on the fun if the weather isn't in your favor.

Great property, beautiful views. We had the royal service and our butler was amazing. Shout out to Matiel!!! He made the experience very enjoyable for my partner and I. It was his birthday and he decorated the room for us, in addition he reserved the restaurants for us where they sang happy birthday to him and made sure we had a beach view.
